Living Tomorrow Academy teaches companies how to prepare for rapid developments in areas like AI
AI has initiated the acceleration of our economic system and is bringing us into more turbulent times than ever. To make an organisation 'future proof', a 'forward thinking' strategy is necessary. Innovation platform Living Tomorrow organizes the "Living Tomorrow Academy" with well-known mentors such as futurist Rik Vera and top entrepreneur Jürgen Ingels to assist organisations in this process. “This way, you can learn under the mentorship of the best,” explains TomorrowLab Director Marijke Verhavert.
At Living Tomorrow, companies work cross-sectorally on the future. The Living Tomorrow Academy provides more people with access to this unique environment. “Our courses can be given both in-house at companies and in the inspiring setting of our new innovation campus in Vilvoorde. It’s also a perfect environment for networking,” Marijke Verhavert explains.
The Academy targets various profiles within companies and organisations. “Everyone who wants to embrace the future is welcome, from CEOs and high potentials to productmanagers,” says Marijke. “We strongly believe that an organisation can only be future-oriented if innovation is everyone's responsibility. Innovation cannot be done alone. It’s about inspiring people, learning from each other, collaborating to create ecosystems…”
Yin Oei, CEO of Living Tomorrow, adds: “Companies need to be more proactive to succeed in a rapidly changing landscape. And people need to build a multitude of experiences to grow into that adaptable role of the future.”
Renowned mentors
Living Tomorrow aims to bring the specific skills needed for this closer to companies through its Academy. “For instance, it’s important to integrate 'early warning signals' of significant changes into your projects and processes on a daily basis. Additionally, you need to get people on board with the changes ahead and have a common language about future possibilities. We also focus on these aspects in our training,” Marijke explains.
The “Leadership in Strategy & Innovation” program is the flagship of the Living Tomorrow Academy. During this course, you receive personal guidance from the experienced innovators of TomorrowLab, culminating in pitching your innovation plan to your sponsor. Additionally, there is a unique mentor approach. The mentors of the leadership program include futurist Rik Vera, top entrepreneur Jürgen Ingels, and Living Tomorrow Managing Partner Joachim De Vos.
The Living Tomorrow Academy kicks off in June with an initial focus on generative AI and broad innovation skills. For more information, visit www.livingtomorrow.com/academy.
